On my brother’s 1.8tdci 2008 focus I rewired the hs canbus from ecu to electric power steering pump to abs to obd connector to instrument cluster. All connections soldered as I wanted to make sure it was fine. It did fix the problems on that car which had been plaguing us for a while. I posted it all on here back in 2019.
The fault is almost cleared from the ECU when disconnected and the engine light is often not displayed. if the battery is left connected it will display this fault and start in limp mode so the battery needs to be disconnected overnight to erase the fault in the ECU.

I bought Ford Focus Mk2 1.6 TDCI 109PS 2009y car. It runs into limp mode very often and 2 failure codes are thrown: P2002, P0299. I tried to run static DPF regeneration, but it didn't help.
